We celebrate summer with music and dance from across the globe in our upcoming Breathe Regularly season. A host of exceptional artists, musicians, singers and dancers bring colour and vibrancy from across 5 continents to the public spaces of Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals. Whether you need to be uplifted, relaxed or inspired, we have something to do just that! Click the links to find out more about the performers and their upcoming performance dates.
Back by popular demand, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust staff member Preshianthi Navaratnam returns to share her singing talents with a selection of special guests. Firm favourites Graffiti Classics are sure to make you laugh and, making her first Breathe Regularly appearance, London-born soprano Kate Royal shares a recital of operatic favourites and songs by Strauss and Schumann. This season, we’re especially proud to be part of the #ArtsCan public engagement campaign funded by the Wellcome Trust highlighting how the arts can benefit our health. We will share more on this exciting 3-year programme soon.
Outside of the walls of Guy’s and St Thomas’, our GSTT NHS staff community choir Trust Harmonix will take to the stage at Greenwich Theatre on Sunday 16 September. Trust Harmonix will perform a programme of soul, jazz and pop alongside Mike King’s MKC and MyCool Singers. We advise you to book your tickets early, as it’s likely to sell out.
