ROLE: Communications & Engagement Coordinator, Performing Arts
Location: St. George’s Circus London, SE1 Hours: 3 days per week, Mon-Fri (flexible working considered and days to be determined between postholder and line manager) Contract: 1-year fixed term (Jan-Dec 2019); possibility of extending subject to further funding in 2020
The Communications and Engagement Coordinator is a new role that will support the Performing Arts team to further embed our programme into Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and the broader arts and health sector. Our aim is to ensure we reach as many patients, staff and local residents as possible to engage in our work and this person will be key to that; they will also help us increase our co-production with staff through a new staff steering group and other staff focused engagements.
We are looking for a skilled and highly confident communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills and will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including NHS Trust staff, funders, patients and their families and the wider communities of Lambeth & Southwark. This will be a busy, exciting role, requiring the post holder to balance a highly varied workload, so we are looking for someone proactive with fresh ideas, who can respond calmly and efficiently.
