Not long ago we celebrated the amazing efforts of Trevor Thorne, father of Ashton Thorne, a young magician of our 2017 Midlands camp. Together with local businesses they fundraised a whopping £30,000 leading us to host The Breathe Magic Intensive Therapy Programme in Gloucestershire for the first time in Easter 2019.

Fast forward a few months and the families of our Easter 2019 Mercedes Talma camp have decided to take up the fundraising mantle and this weekend hiked up the tallest peak in Wales, Pen y Fan!

Our journey to the top

We met at the bottom at 10am and with young magicians, their families, Breathe team members Rosey and Grace, Trevor and Ashton who joined to give moral support and a couple of climbing instructors for good measure. We set off heading up the ‘motorway’ route named as such because it is the fastest, most direct route up.

What a super group of young magicians and families you all are. Thank you so much for all your efforts. We couldn’t do what we do without you.
