BREATHE MAGIC INTENSIVE THERAPY PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
Watch medical meet magical. The Breathe Magic Intensive Therapy Foundation programme uses specially adapted magic tricks to help rehabilitate people with conditions such as hemiplegia, stroke or brain injury, and mental health issues. Learn more about the programme
BREATHE MAGIC FOR MENTAL HEALTH
The use of magic in a therapeutic context is a powerful motivator. In partnership with GO Create! at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), we offered young people at a specialist mental health unit the chance to take part in a series of bespoke Breathe Magic workshops. The response from staff and patients was overwhelmingly positive. Read more about the programme here.
BREATHE MAGIC FOR STROKE REHAB
Launched in 2013, this weekly club programme is based on our successful work with young people with hemiplegia. We provide intensive magic therapy to adults who have suffered a stroke to help improve their use of the affected upper limbs and boost their confidence. BREATHE MAGIC - THE NEXT STAGE
After completing the Breathe Magic Intensive Therapy Foundation programme, our young magicians have the option of taking their abilities to The Next Stage! This programme focuses on further improving bimanual hand function, independence, confidence and self-esteem.
