Breathe is a London Living Wage Employer and a Mayor of London Good Work Standard employer!

We’re officially a London Living Wage Employer!

We are thrilled to have been accredited as a London Living Wage Employer, which highlights our commitment to fair pay and working conditions.

In London, 13.3% of all jobs pay less than the real Living Wage – that’s 574,000 jobs!

The real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to the costs of living. It provides a voluntary benchmark for employers that wish to ensure their staff earn a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum.

Katherine Chapman, Director, Living Wage Foundation said: “We’re delighted that Breathe Arts Health Research has joined the movement of over 15,000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on.

“They join thousands of small businesses, as well as household names such as Burberry, Barclays, Everton Football Club and many more. These businesses recognise that paying the real Living Wage is the mark of a responsible employer and they, like Breathe, believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay.”

This accreditation reflects our ethos of creating a happy, healthy, and supportive workplace.

We’re officially a Mayor of London Good Work Standard employer!

We are also thrilled to be one of just 170 organisations to achieve the prestigious accreditation of being a Mayor of London Good Work Standard employer. This recognises our commitment to fair pay, job security, and employee wellbeing. Creating a happy, healthy, and supportive workplace isn’t just a goal—it’s at the heart of everything we do.

In April, our Founder & MD, Yvonne and Company & HR Administrator Han attended City Hall alongside the Mayor of London’s Economic Development & Programmes Unit and Howard Dawber to celebrate with fellow accredited organisations. It was inspiring to hear about London’s 10-year growth plan and its focus on inclusive and resilient workplaces.

This accreditation reflects our belief that good work benefits everyone—employees, employers, and communities alike. We’re proud to be part of a movement shaping a fairer, stronger, and more inclusive London.
