Based within the Clarence Centre for Enterprise and Innovation at London South Bank University, we offer a variety of placements for students interested in gaining some hands-on experience in Breathe’s work.

As a small organisation we can be flexible in the types of placements offered and aim to provide opportunities which support students to develop the skills they need to achieve their goals post University.

Previous placement students have been involved in several projects across the organisation including assisting with project management on our Breathe Melodies for Mums programme, developing a quarterly programme for our Breathing Spaces events as well as supporting with general office administration and events.

Who can apply for a student placement?

We take applications from students studying a range of courses and will aim to create a placement to suit the experience you are looking to gain. We also maintain relationships with several University Placement Coordinators who we arrange regular placements for each year.

When do you offer placements?

We offer placements all year round. However, due to the nature of some of our work being seasonal, dependent on the time of year of your placement we will be able to offer different experiences.

How to apply

If you would like to apply for a placement, please send us a CV and short covering letter (no more than half a side) detailing what type of experience you would like to gain and whether there is a specific programme you are interested in becoming involved with. We accept applications on a rolling basis. Please email you CV and covering letter to info@breatheahr.org.
