What University where you at and which course were you studying when you completed a placement with Breathe?

I was in my second year at London South Bank University studying for a BA(Hons) Business Management with HR

What did you do on your placement with Breathe?

I spent most of my time working in the office helping with various tasks including updating social media and the website with upcoming performances, updating stakeholder information on the CRM database, confirming artists contracts, updating the quotes database, researching possible funding streams, banking and assisting with mail outs. I was also able to attend many of the performances as well as the Breathe Magic Intensive Therapy Programme.

What did you most enjoy about your placement at Breathe?

Before my placement at Breathe, I would have never imagined this type of business or the type of services they are offering to the community – I found the idea of the programmes original and thoughtful. I am really happy with the knowledge I learnt and attending Magic camp and the performances at the hospital was a magical and wonderful experience.

What are you doing now?

I have been travelling and am currently finishing my final year at university.
