ICS Staff Wellbeing Opportunities Spring 2025

Breathe are excited to be continuing our dynamic range of arts-based workshops this spring to support primary, social and health care staff wellbeing across South East London.

We’re kicking off our spring programme with popular weekly drop-in workshops such as drawing and dance as well as lots of exciting taster sessions, bringing our amazing artists to your doorstep!

This programme is commissioned by South East London Integrated Care System (ICS) from November 2024 to April 2025.

Breathe Drawing for Unwinding  

10 weeks, Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm, Online (29 Jan – 9 Apr except 19 Feb)

Relax and reduce anxiety by channelling attention through simple yet captivating drawing activities. Inspired by well-known artists, experience the mindfulness benefits by experimenting with shading, texture, shape and form. 

Breathe Dance for Mind and Body 

10 Weeks, Thursdays 6-7pm, Kings College Hospital, SE5 9NY  (30 Jan – 3 Apr)

Come together with colleagues to connect the mind and body. From Salsa to Street Dance, professional dance leads will guide the group through fun warm-ups and beginner-friendly routines in a supportive environment. You’ll leave feeling empowered and energised! 

Taster – Breathe Journalling for Calm

Tuesdays 11 Feb & 11 Mar, 7-8pm, Online

Slow down and learn skills to create beautiful art journals which leave you feeling calm and restored. Guided by mindful exercises and creative tips, take part wherever you are using materials you have already.  

Taster – Breathe Playful Portraits for Joy 

Friday 7 Mar, 1-2pm, Online

Take time over your lunch to relax explore playful and expressive portraiture. This session is designed or total beginners and will focus on the joy of mark making and layering through a series of loose and energetic drawings. The perfect chance to let go and have fun! 

Taster – Breathe Sound Journey for Serenity

Thursday 6 Feb, 4-5pm, Maytree Children’s Centre, 4 Allingham Rd, SW4 8EG

Using a harmonious blend of therapeutic sounds. This session invites you to unwind, reconnect, and find inner peace. Perfect for anyone seeking a moment of calm amidst life’s demands, this journey will leave you feeling refreshed, centred, and recharged.
