ICS Staff Wellbeing Opportunities Summer 2024
Fri 10 May
“My feedback can only be 10/10 for these classes! It’s the reason I’m excited to have to go to work. It helps socialising with other co-workers in a scenario that we would probably never find ourselves in, we laugh like crazy, we exercise and learn new things… these hours make my headache disappear!”
We are kicking off our summer programme with our popular favourite weekly workshops based on staff’s feedback and input. You can join every week or just when it suits:
Drawing for Unwinding
Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm, online, 8 weeks starting from 15 May
This absorbing workshop focusses on relaxing and reducing anxiety by channelling attention through simple yet captivating drawing activities. Inspired by the work of well-known artists, you’ll experience the mindfulness benefits as you experiment with shading, texture and form.
Dance for Mind and Body – Flamenco
Thursdays 6-7pm, Kings College Hospital, SE5 9RS, 8 weeks starting from 30 May
Come together with colleagues to connect the mind and body. Led by professional dance leads, you’ll learn the basics of flamenco to rumba songs in a beginner-friendly, encouraging environment. Stomp away the stress and feel empowered, revitalised and ready for more!
Registration in advance is essential. Sign up here
Keep your eyes peeled for our exciting programme of taster sessions coming very soon, including singing, magic, musical meditations, illustrating, stretching and many more!
These workshops are strictly only open to health and social care staff working across South East London.
