Fundraise For Us

Have you always wanted to set yourself a fitness challenge? Do you love shopping? Or is baking your passion?

There are lots of fun ways that you can support the work of Breathe whilst getting your friends, family, classmates, and colleagues involved too! We’re always amazed at the inventive and crazy ideas the Breathe family come up with in order to raise money for our work.

Below are a few suggestions to get you started but we have lots more up our sleeves so get in touch if you would like to fundraise for Breathe but are stuck for ideas or need some support.

Organise your own fundraising event or challenge

Over the years some of our brilliant Breathe family and supporters have taken on some truly breath-taking missions to raise money for Breathe. We’ve had people climbing mountains, organising concerts and performances, litter picking on the beach and someone even cycled from London to Russia for Breathe! We’re blown away by the time, energy and effort given by each of our supporters.

Take part in an organised event or challenge

Whether it’s your first danceathon, an adrenaline pumping bungee jump or you’re taking on a marathon, don’t forget if you’re taking on a challenge you can make all your efforts worthwhile by getting sponsored to raise money for Breathe.

Join us for the Thames Path Ultra Challenges, Tough Mudder or both!

We are looking for wonderful people to take in an Ultra Challenge or Tough Mudder this year!

Thames Ultra Challenge

Taking place on 12th, 13th and 14th of September 2025 join us and push yourself further walking, running or jogging your preferred distance along the Thames, raising money to support Breathe’s life-changing arts and health programmes.

The discount code BREATH25 is valid from 1st March until the 30th April. It will discount the registration fee for any full sponsorship for charity place by a further 25%.

Thames Path Challenge
Saturday 13th and / or Sunday 14th September 2025.

Walking, jogging or running. Start/finish points and distance options ranging from 25km to 100km:
1st quarter – 28km (13th Sep),
2nd quarter – 22km (13th Sep),
3rd quarter – 28km (14th Sep),
4th quarter – 22km (14th Sep),
1st half – 50km (13th Sep),
2nd half – 50km (14th Sep),
3 quarters – 72km (13th Sep),
2-day 100km (13th & 14th Sep),
Continuous 100km (13th Sep).

Thames Moonlight 10
Friday 12th September 2025 (Evening start)
The Oval, Kennington start & finish

Walking. Choice of distance (10 miles or 10 kilometres)

Tough Mudder: London South

Taking place on 20th and 21st September, join us at Tough Mudder as we make those muddy miles count and support Breathe Arts Health Research! Take on a diverse 5km course that includes woodland trails, rolling terrain, and seriously muddy obstacles, it offers a challenge like no other. Are you ready to join the ultimate mud party in South London?

By supporting our work, you’re enabling us to reach more people with our creative healthcare programmes

Give as you shop!

What could be better?! Supporting Breathe whilst you shop! Initiatives such as Easyfundraising mean that when you shop online at thousands of retailers a percentage of the amount you spend will be donated to support Breathe.

On Easyfundraising search for ‘Breathe Arts Health Research’ to start fundraising whilst you shop at over 4,700 different online retailers.

On Thrift+ you can sell your clothes and support Breathe Arts Health Research. After each sale Thrift+ will let you know how much you’ve raised for Breathe.
