Can you take on a challenge for Breathe?

Thu 16 Jan

In the face of continual funding cuts, Breathe needs your support more than ever!  We are passionate about making our creative healthcare programmes accessible for all and we need your help to be able to do this.

After fantastic efforts from supporters who took on Thames Path Ultra Challenges last year, we are looking for more wonderful people to take on an Ultra Challengethis year!

I have chosen to support the work of Breathe because, as a scientist, I know the true value and importance of using evidence-based research to inform clinical decision-making and improve patient care. I love that Breathe is able to combine scientific research with creativity!

Fundraising Options

There are various fundraising options to choose from when signing up for your challenge:

Option 1

Self Funding – if you select this option you pay for the full price of your place which is £49. You can then set your own fundraising target of how much you’d like to raise for Breathe.

Option 2

Full Sponsorship for a Charity – this option includes a £10 registration fee to sign up and Breathe would cover the full cost of your place. The minimum amount you need to fundraise for Breathe would be £150 (but if you can raise more than that it would be EVEN more amazing).

Option 3

Mixed Funding for a Charity – this option includes a £25 registration fee to sign up and half of the cost of your place, Breathe would cover the other half. The minimum amount you need to fundraise for Breathe would be £75.

Option 4

Own Place Charity Fundraising – this option is £49 for your registration fee and the full cost of your place. There is no minimum fundraising amount. Please let us know if you sign up for this Option, as we won’t be notified automatically.

I'm in the mindset that if my kid with celebral palsy has to walk each day with blisters and leg paid, then I can totally do it for 10 hours!

Why take on a challenge for Breathe?

Take in some beautiful scenery as you run, walk, or jog surrounded by fun and friendly people, all whilst raising money for a good cause.

We’ll support you every step of the way, send you a Breathe goody bag and information to support your fundraising; plus you’ll be doing something amazing whilst helping us to change lives with our creative health programmes.

If this doesn’t take your fancy, there are plenty more open challenges, run by Ultra Challenge,  you can join to raise money for Breathe (Select ‘Friends of Breathe Arts Health Research’): https://www.ultrachallenge.com/the-events/
